represents clients in a wide range of personal injury areas including automobile accidents, products and premises liability, construction accidents, and medical malpractice. Ms. Fisher is active in wide range of bar activities. She serves on the D.C. Bar Tort Law Steering Committee and is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Tort Law Section of the D.C. Bar. She is also a co-chair of the Women’s Bar Association’s Community Projects Committee. Ms. Fisher has spoken at an American Association for Justice seminar in Atlanta on trial techniques, and has spoken to law students about making the transition from student to lawyer. She is admitted to practice law in Virginia, the District of Columbia, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Fisher was a law clerk in the Senior Judge’s Chambers in D.C. Superior Court. Ms. Fisher graduated from The College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She attended law school at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., graduating with honors. While in law school, Ms. Fisher interned for the D.C. Court of Appeals and participated in a legal clinic helping victims of domestic violence. She was a staff member on CommLaw Conspectus, her law school’s communications law journal, and she has published an article on the need to strengthen laws relating to computer generated/altered child pornography.

When not practicing law, Ms. Fisher participates in a variety of community service activities, including a number of charity runs. Ms. Fisher is an avid hiker and successfully hiked the Grand Canyon in May 2007.
