| To achieve the Super Lawyers designation, the background, experience, professional achievement and peer admiration are considered of each attorney who is nominated, including Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC injury attorneys. An attorney can receive nominations from within his or her law firm for the Super Lawyers designation. However, those nominations are not weighed as heavily as votes received from outside an individual’s firm. An attorney also must receive nominations from outside his or her firm in order to be considered.
Rules of professional responsibility place limitations on the comparisons Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC injury lawyers can make with other lawyers without verifiable proof. However, there are no decisions in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia regarding the validity of the Super Lawyers designation. |
