This is Bill Lightfoot reporting for the American Association for Justice Convention in New York City.

I’m with thousands of lawyers from all across the nation, Canada, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, etc. We’re here to learn more about how to obtain justice for our clients, hold wrongdoers accountable, and frankly gain inspiration.

For example, at this convention there was a showing of the documentary “Hot Coffee”. “Hot Coffee” is about the the abuse of the US Chamber of Commerce as they’ve tried to change our civil jury system to undermine the rights of individuals.

This documentary, produced by an attorney Susan Saladoff, was shown at this convention. Hundreds of people, saw we gain inspiration, and we now have a message to go out and combat what the large corporations are doing to undermine individual liberty.
